The conformable, non-woven fabric adhesive border keeps the dressing in place. The deluxe soaking pad is non-adherent and therefore does not stick to the wound site reducing the chances of damage. It has an inherent moisture retention capacity that makes it an optimum gauze dressing for wound incisions.
